Introduction
Sheikh Hamdan bin Khalifa Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan is grandson of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan. HH Sheikh Hamdan’s grandfather also named Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan was a United Arab Emirati politician and cousin of the founder of UAE, the first President, HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was also the Emir of Abu Dhabi.
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed was also Deputy Prime Minister of UAE from 1977-1990.
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan was born in the 1930s in Al Ain. From 1977 to 1990 he was in office as the (3rd in history) Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (since 1979 sharing this post with the former Prime Minister Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum).
His daughter, Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, is married to Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, former deputy prime minister and ruler’s representative in the western region of Abu Dhabi or the mayor of the region.
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Khalifa’s fathers sister Sheikha Salama is wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. HH Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan is Mother’s brother of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Khalifa Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan. heads the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Social Development.

I want to begin by thanking our Team and Partners for their trust and relentless support. I would also like to share my sincere gratitude towards them who have gone out of their way to support our clients, communities and one another with their relentless efforts, compassion and commitment. I am sure their efforts will reap benefits and make us stronger.
The new generation should be aware of the suffering of our ancestors. This awareness will provide them with drive, firmness and solidity in order to complete the epic of construction and development initiated by our Founding father Sheikh Zayed and our ancestors. This odyssey of accomplishments and contributions is an embodiment of our national ambitions after decades of disarray, backwardness and deprivation.
Our success has always been driven by our ability to deliver without compromising on
safety, quality and Sustainability. In these unprecedented times, the onus is on
us to successfully navigate through business challenges that almost every industry is
facing in one form or the other. Though I am sure we all are able and well prepared, but
it’s imperative to further instil learning agility, a new mindset and innovative ways to
increase value for our clients, partners and turn around a slow market.
It is important to keep reinventing ourselves with changing times. We all understand that
only thing constant in the world is change.
Sustainable development is the pathway to the future we want for all. It offers a framework to generate economic growth, achieve social justice, exercise environmental stewardship and strengthen governance.
Sustainable development requires human ingenuity. People are the most important resource.
Our Forefathers survived the hard terrain and lived with limited resources, and they were able to do so because they recognized the need to conserve it, to take from it only what they needed to live, and to preserve it for succeeding generations.
Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” There might come a time that we may face a situation which could be beyond our control, but with the kind of versatility and skillsets we have as a team, we are more than capable to sail through without even a scratch on the surface. There are no walls we can’t break; no milestones we can’t achieve. As our Founding father Sheikh Zayed once Said “Wealth is not money. Wealth lies in men. This is where true power lies, the power we value. This is what has convinced us to direct all our resources to building the individual, and to using the wealth which God has provided us in the service of the nation”. With that, I hope we continue to empower and support each other in always doing what is right for the society and our communities.
